TERRI BRANSON
TERRI BRANSON earned an associate degree in math and science before turning her efforts toward the studies of creative writing and graphic arts. She is a graphics artist, a musician, a photographer, and an author who has sold articles on the craft of writing and conducted many local writing workshops. RICHARD M. CRUM
RICHARD M. CRUM is a former National Geographic writer and editor. His long-standing professional work as a writer and editor for National Geographic Society and The World Bank makes him one of the nation’s most trusted editorial consultants. He continues to write and edit in his hometown of Edmond, Oklahoma. Picture book publications include Swanson the Angry Rooster, illustrated by Patty Leach DeFriese.
PAT GAINES
PAT GAINES worked 22 years in the courthouse in Lincoln County, Oklahoma, until her retirement in 2003. She loved to teach the Bible, read, paint, do arts and crafts, and watch movies. She and her husband Jerry had two children and three grandchildren. She wrote articles for local newspapers and offered a free online Bible study. In addition to the historical biography, The Journal of Amos Hannah, she also wrote two children's picture books: O. O. Octopus and The Lonely Mouse (coming soon).

JUDY GOODSPEED graduated from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, and was a junior high school teacher and coach for thirty years. She has written articles for local newspapers and national western magazines. Publications include children’s picture books, western novels, and non-fiction books. PAULA BLAIS GORGAS
PAULA BLAIS GORGAS, a native Rhode Islander, graduated college and not long afterward married dashing Naval officer, Chet Gorgas. After his retirement from the Navy, they settled in Poteau, Oklahoma. They have four grown sons and a dozen grandchildren. Paula has worked as an NSA intelligence analyst and as a children's librarian. She writes children's books, juvenile fiction (for ages 8-12), young adult novels (for ages 13-18 and up), fantasy short stories, and romance novels. Children's picture book publications include:

ROBERTA HOFFER
ROBERTA HOFFER is a retired preschool teacher from a small town in Indiana, who married her high school sweetheart. Together they have two children and have one grandson. Roberta loves animals and is an advocate for animal rights. When not writing, Roberta enjoys boating, camping, walking, and anything that involves her family being together. She writes children's books, juvenile fiction, and young adult novels. Children's picture pook publications include:

KARIN HUXMAN
K. D. Huxman wanted to be the first veterinarian astronaut. In college she studied biology and was in Air Force ROTC. After college she became an Air Force officer, but rocketing to the stars was not to be. She married a fellow Air Force officer and settled into raising a family, but never forgot her love of books or science. She earned an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Norwich University. After traveling around the country with the Air Force, she settled in Colorado. On a clear night she enjoys looking up at the stars, dreaming and writing. She has taught writing at the community college level and worked as an elementary school librarian. CHET TAYLOR
CHET TAYLOR is a Navy veteran and a graduate of Oklahoma City University with a degree in fine arts. In addition to a career in radio, newspaper, and television sales, he has over thirty years experience in freelance animation for television commercials and has illustrated many children's picture books, including his own Last, But Not Least. Chet lives in Oklahoma with his wife, Jan. Picture books illustrated by Chet Taylor include:
